CORPORATE INITIATIVES

Adani Foundation

has contributed Rs 5 crore to Gujarat CM Relief Fund and Rs 1 crore the Maharashtra CM Relief Fund. Contributions also made to Kattupalli District Collector COVID-19 Fund and the Bhadra District Administration.
It has also providing 100 ventilators to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation immediately followed with PPEs (Personal Protective Equipments) and N-95 Masks. Women cooperatives aided by Adani Saksham produced more than 1.2 lakhs masks. While business canteens are cooking healthy food for truck drivers and the labourers, essentials across Ahmedabad are being delivered through Adani Gas-fuelled CNG autos.

The Adani Group, a $15 Bn conglomerate that runs critical infrastructure assets in India has led this proactive fight from the front. From contributing financial aid needed to mobilize actions at the ground level to pulling together resources from businesses and participation of its massive India workforce in ensuring that essential goods and services are delivered to Indian homes, the Adani Group has worked as one collective force fighting COVID19.

Financial aid – INR 114 Crores donated to central and state governments of India

Relief material – Masks, ventilators, protective gear and food distributed

Whether it is about donating 100 ventilators to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation along with PPEs (Personal Protective Equipments) and N-95 Masks or activating women co-operative groups aided by Adani Saksham (the Adani Skill Development unit) to produce lakhs of safety masks for free dissemination at remote sites across the country, it has been consistently working to ensure public safety.

Healthcare- A dedicaed hospital to combat COVID19

The Adani GK General Hospital in Bhuj has emerged as a lifeline for Corona-feared people in Kutch, India’s largest district. Being the first ever Public-Private-Partnership (PPP)-run hospital of the country, it was turned into the only fully-equipped facility in the region to treat patients infected by Corona virus.

Soon after the World Health Organization declared COVID19 as a pandemic, the hospital created dedicated quarantine facilities for suspected patients and positive cases. It also deployed a dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professional.

GOVERNMENT EFFORTS
