  • Food, rent, electricity bills, soap, COVID test for existing patients of Operation ASHA

  • Testing for COVID-19 for TB patient and their families

Community Efforts

  • Kitchen to Community Project with social distancing in Mukherjee Nagar

We are a bunch of friends from adjoining neighbourhoods who have been cooking for the past 17 days (as of 17 April) an average of hundred meals a day from our homes for a community kitchen which feeds close to 2500 people at every meal. We add a 100 bananas and biscuit packets to our cooked parcels as well. We got in touch with the locality police station and the Police Communications Officer has arranged for our food packets to be picked up from our neighbourhood. We have started creating dry food ration parcels (containing essentials like rice, atta, daal, oil, salt, masalas, soap, etc.) as well with the donation money which we are distributing in the neighbouring jhuggis and to daily wage labourers whose earnings have stopped or vastly depleted, such as rickshawwallahs.
