GRACE OF GLORY MINISTRY TRUST
A relatively new organization that has been reaching out to low-income and vulnerable communities in 20+ settlements across Bhiwandi, Thane, Kalyan and Dombivli and identified requirement of desperate support to these groups. Launched a campaign to offer relief support, already distributed to 50 families. Require desperate support and funding.

RISE AGAINST HUNGER INDIA
In Mumbai, about 2,500 meals are being cooked daily and being distributed in Kurla, VT Station, Church gate Station, Byculla, Dharavi and Bandra. Due to high demand, the number is being pushed to 3,000.

TEAM MUMBAI LOCKDOWN 24X7 RELIEF HELPLINE
Group of around 20-30 young individuals eager to help in the time of growing crisis due to the pandemic. As of 10th April, received 1,700 calls most asking for asking for ration, transport of cooked food and medicines. It works in a way that those who call the helpline are connected to the NGOs or volunteers who are handling relief work in the particular area the caller hails from. In extreme cases where no NGO can deliver them ration due to the quarantine, we have transferred money to the kirana store which can in turn deliver the grains.

HELP REQUIRED
SWASTH FOUNDATION
Provides affordable and high-quality primary-preventive health services. Sharing government approved online prevention guidelines and raising awareness of the situation on Facebook and Telegram through campaign ‘Smart Bano, Swasth Raho’.
Supporting vulnerable groups by providing essential medical services (consultation, lab and medicines) through 16 medical centers across Mumbai; adapted to tele-consultation since the lockdown.
Facilitating delivery of food to the vulnerable and affected. 250+ families have been provided with dry ration for 2 weeks and 3,000+ families in need for support have been identified.
Supporting public health systems with PPE. ~3,000 units of PPE have been provided to front line staff at public hospitals, police and other relief workers in Mumbai and we already have a request for 20,000 more at USD 5 per unit.

Over the last week, Teach For India Fellows' begun identifying the needs of our 32,000 students across 7 cities. This exercise highlighted a set of critical and urgent needs. Jitendra and his team have estimated 100-125 families in slums near Yaari Road, Versova with zero support. The goal is to raise INR 2,50,000 to provide food and essential items for a period of one month.

ANJALI SHAH

Along with five others initiated #FeedMyMumbai, an initiative in collaboration with Jagganath’s kitchen to feed the people on the streets with ready/ cooked meals and providing ration (dal, rice, oil, salt, potatoes etc.) for over 50 families in Ambedkar Nagar and nearing chawl areas. They aim to raise INR 50,000 for this effort.

Sree Mukti Sanghatana, through its Parisar Vikas program, is working with over 3000 waste pickers in Mumbai Metropolitan Region providing PPE’s, food and ration, and direct cash donations.

ROTI GHAR – KHUSHIYAN FOUNDATION
Foundation has distributed 98,950 meals from 25/3/2020 – 11/4/2020 to the vulnerable communities across the country and continue to do so with the extension of the lockdown.
Khushiyan Foundation with their initiative Roti Ghar Foundation has distributed 98,950 meals from 25/3/2020 – 11/4/2020 to the vulnerable communities across the country and continue to do so with the extension of the lockdown.
In Mumbai they have covered Khar, Virar, Santacruz, Juhu, Versova, Malad, Thane -Waghle, Govandi Slums 1 and 2, Hiranandani Thane, Peddar road, Jupiter hospital, Sion Koliwada.

KHAANA CHAHIYE – PROJECT MUMBAI

Another initiative by Project Mumbai is their Khana Chahiye campaign. Partnering with restaurants , caterers and charitable institutions they’ve built their supply to organize 10,000+ meals a day across the city.

DHRITI FOUNDATION
​
Aim to deliver 20 tonnes of hand sanitizer, 50,000 3-ply masks and 10,000 N-95 masks to healthcare workers, policemen and other essential services.
Working with Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC), Public Health Department and manufacturers to deliver masks and sanitizers to every Government Coronavirus hospital in Mumbai as well as Primary Health Centers, police stations and CBOs.
The first batch of supplies have been delivered to Cooper Hospital, Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Care Hospital, Meghwadi Police Station and Rajawadi Police Station.

Have tweaked their platforms to on board local Retailers/Grocers and/or pick grocery/medical items from a local retailer and making doorstep deliveries.

CEO Neville Noronha & DMart COO N. Bhaskaran pledged 50,000 grocery kits to be distributed among the less privileged, mostly in containment zones, between 7-14 April.

TATA TRUSTS
Trusts has committed Rs. 500 crores to all affected communities. PPE’s , respirators etc., imported by TATA Companies through AirAsia on April 9.
