GOVERNMENT ACTION
DONATION ON WHEELS
Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Apr 12(ANI): Chhattisgarh Government and Raipur Municipal Corporation provided food to the needy through ‘Donation on Wheels’ scheme. The aim of this scheme is to ensure that no one sleeps empty stomach in the city. Through ‘Donation on Wheels’, Chhattisgarh government and Raipur Municipal Corporation collected raw food from people who are capable enough to donate. People who are not able to provide raw food packets due to any reason could donate the value of one packet, i.e, Rs. 350. The corporation would use it to purchase ration and provide the donor with a bill.
Raipur Municipal Corporation has started a COVID-19 Relief Fund with Axis Bank. The fund will help cater to the needs of daily wage workers.
